What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. Similar technologies such as local storage, pixels and tags work in comparable ways and are covered by this policy.
The law that applies
Our use of cookies is governed by the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks and Services) (Privacy and Electronic Communications) Regulations 2011 (S.I. 336 of 2011) and by the GDPR. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. Everything else does, and consent must be given by a clear affirmative action before the cookie is set.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Strictly necessary | Keeps the site working while you move between pages and submit forms. | Session |
| Consent preference | Strictly necessary | Remembers the cookie choices you have made so we do not ask again. | 6 months |
| HubSpot (hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc, __hssrc) | Functional and analytics | Set by the HubSpot form embed to identify a visitor across submissions and to prevent duplicate entries. | Session to 6 months |
| Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) | Analytics | Measures how the site is used so we can improve it. Only set if you accept analytics cookies. | Up to 24 months |
We do not currently run advertising or retargeting cookies. If that changes, this table and the consent banner will be updated first.
Third parties
Some cookies are set by services we embed. HubSpot provides our enquiry and quote forms. Embedded video from YouTube, where present, may set cookies when you press play. These providers publish their own cookie and privacy notices, and we recommend reading them if you want the full detail.
Managing cookies
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies when you first visit, and change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser and reloading the page.
Every major browser also lets you block or delete cookies directly. Look for Settings, then Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the site, particularly the forms, from working properly.
